| Welcome to the Web site for the Utah Theatre Association. For over thirty years, the Utah Theatre Association has supported educational theatre in the state of Utah. The Association was created by educators throughout the state with a goal of creating production and educational experiences for students outside the classroom environment. | ||||||
| Additionally, the Association provides support for educators in creating the strongest programs that they can within their individual schools. Throughout our history, we have repeatedly heard comments from students and educators about how our organization and the conferences we organized have brought an understanding of the power of theatre to their lives or rekindled the passion that was always there. | ||||||
| The web site has information on the conference and resources that can help you and your students in the classroom. | ||||||
| Our main focus as an organization has been on our annual conference, held in January and hosted by a Utah college or university. Next year, our conference will be January 31- February 2, 2008 and hosted by Brigham Young University. |
